Easter.... delayed

So, since our family was sick for Easter, we waited almost a month before the girls got to wear their Easter dresses and we made our Easter dinner Ham.... they were not so interested in photos....

Beyond Lemonade Stands...

Allie is determined to go back to hawaii. She has tried having lemonade stands to raise money, and has a jar that she has decorated and puts all her money in....

well, this week, she moved beyond lemonade stands to a car/bike wash...

She had a few customers... Well, our bikes (which she charged us full price for, no family discount) and our friends the Jenkin's car... whom we called and told to bring over to be washed. But is she is determined to keep going.. next time she wants to sell picnic lunches on our lawn. oh my.

All dressed up

the girls do love playing and getting dirty, but they also love getting all dressed up... especially shannon.

so, what do you do when you are all dressed up with no plans?? why, wash moms car, of course.... (actually, this picture was taken another day, but it cracks me up that shannon is wearing that dress to wash my car..)

Tulip Festival

My First race

Today Allie ran in her first race... Mommy did a race, then Allie got to participate in the Discover Spring Kids Fun Run... they ran around the park one lap.. and Allie had fun, running the whole way...

Now she is passing the girl in the pink skirt.. she was very proud of that...


And then she passed the boy in green, too... again, she was bragging about that... hmm.. where does she get this competitive streak??

She is super proud of her "medal"... and will tell you she came in 2nd place.?? Well, she did great and had fun, that is what is important...

Softball Game with Dad and Grandma

While Mom was away scrappin', the girls headed to Corvallis to attend an OSU softball game. Allie has been wanting to go to one, and there happened to be one on a day that didn't forecast constant rain.. so away they went.

GWL

We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge, once again.. Our family sure enjoys the time we spend there... the girls cannot get enough of the swimming and the magic, and this time we stayed in a fun Wolf's Den room.. and they loved that!!!

Build A Bear

We finally took the girls to Build a Bear Workshop, so they could use their gift cards from Christmas... Allie picked a wolf, and shannon a kitten.

After they were stuffed, the girls had fun giving their new friends a bath..

They had fun, love their new friends and keep asking to go back.

After visiting Idaho, we stopped by WR to visit the other half of the family...

While there, we took the kids to a local play gym for some run around, bouncin' off the walls time.

We got to spend a few days in Idaho with Uncle Ross and Aunt Kris..

they have a WII.. and Allie was hooked on the Guitar/drum game.

We also spent a morning at a local Discovery Center.... lots of cool things to do and see... even the big boys got into it....

And when it warmed up, we went out for a bike ride... Allie tried to ride without her training wheels and did awesome!!
