Sarah update

Our newest family member, Sarah, is doing quite well.. adjusting to life with two little girls!!

A parade with 2 princesses

Allie and Shannon set up a parade in our living room/kitchen area... and they both rode along in their floats waving to the crowd.. mind you the crowd was EVERY stuffed animal they owned lining the "streets".

3 Years Old! Happy Birthday Shannon!!

It is hard to believe it has been 3 years... but the calendar says it has, so I guess we will have a party!!

To celebrate Shannon's 3rd birthday, we went camping at Champoeg State Park, in Newberg.  Our friends the Jenkins, and the McGregors celebrated with us along with Grandma and Granddaddy...  Shannon requested a Princess Party, specifically a princess Belle Party.. well, when you are camping, it is hard to do a total princess thing.. but we managed. :)

We even had our usual pinata, this time it was a castle with princesses on it.. :)

And, what would a birthday be without presents????

We have been so blessed these past three years and look forward to what adventures lie ahead with our spirited little one....

The newest addition....

After months and months of asking, reading books about them, getting a cage all ready and saving up her money... We headed to Kramers to let the girls pick out a guinea pig....

They chose a little girl and named her Sarah...  Allie and Shannon even had their own money to pay...

They are in love with her....

First Day of Kindergarten

I cannot believe this day has come... but it did.  Allie, our oldest little girl, started Kindergarten today....And, she picked out her own outfit to wear.  (Shannon picked out hers, too!  It is important to wear your best on the first day of school).

Then off to the Kindergarten class with Mrs. Kroemer....

...and time for the parents to leave... and the little sister.... as you can see, the little sister was not to thrilled about having to leave big sister... Shannon was the only one who shed tears... and she shed a lot.

After school, Allie reported a great day!!!

A day of beauty...

The day before Allie started Kindergarten we decided to do something special... so we headed on over to Sisters Salon for some new hair do's... Mommy and Allie got their hair cut, but Shannon declined the invitation (still waiting for her to get that mop trimmed...)

After the hair cuts, we headed to Garden nails so the girls could enjoy some pampering in the form of pedicures ... .they love the butterfly chairs...

It was a fun afternoon for the girls, and now... time for Kindergarten!!!

The season has started.... and while the game was not great, the girls and friends had a great time!!!

First Slumber Party

Allie (and Shannon) had their first sleep over.... Allie's bestie and class mate Lauren came over to celebrate the end of summer with a sleep over....

Now, on to book time...

Shannon refused to be left out... and decided to join the two girls... three little girls in a bed.... that sounds like a story rhyme that ends with bumps on heads...

No bumps, all awoke at 7am ready to play...

And eat pancakes.. three different kinds were requested!!
